एक रेस्टोरेंट में कई बार देखा गया कि, एक व्यक्ति (भिखारी) आता है और भीड़ का लाभ उठाकर नाश्ता कर चुपके से बिना पैसे, दिए निकल जाता है। एक दिन जब वह खा रहा था तो एक आदमी ने चुपके से दुकान के मालिक को बताया कि यह भाई भीड़ का लाभ उठाएगा और बिना बिल चुकाए निकल जाएगा।उसकी बात सुनकर रेस्टोरेंट का मालिक मुस्कराते हुए बोला – उसे बिना कुछ कहे जाने दो, हम इसके बारे में बाद में बात करेंगे। हमेशा की तरह भाई ने नाश्ता करके इधर-उधर देखा और भीड़ का लाभ उठाकर चुपचाप चला गया।
उसके जाने के बाद, उसने रेस्टोरेंट के मालिक से पूछा कि मुझे बताओ कि आपने उस व्यक्ति को क्यों जाने दिया।रेस्टोरेंट के मालिक ने कहा आप अकेले नहीं हो, कई भाइयों ने उसे देखा है और मुझे उसके बारे में बताया है। वह रेस्टोरेंट के सामने बैठता है और जब देखता है कि भीड़ है,
तो वह चुपके से खाना खा लेता है। मैंने हमेशा इसे नज़रअंदाज़ किया और कभी उसे रोका नहीं, उसे कभी पकड़ा नहीं और ना ही कभी उसका अपमान करने की कोशिश की.. क्योंकि मुझे लगता है कि मेरी दुकान में भीड़ इस भाई की प्रार्थना की वजह से हैवह मेरे रेस्टोरेंट के सामने बैठे हुए प्रार्थना करता है कि, जल्दी इस रेस्टोरेंट में भीड़ हो तो मैं जल्दी से अंदर जा सकूँ, खा सकूँ और निकल सकूँ। और निश्चित रूप से जब वह अंदर आता है तो हमेशा भीड़ होती है। तो ये भीड़ भी शायद उसकी “प्रार्थना” से हैशायद इसीलिए कहते है कि मत करो घमंड इतना कि मैं किसी को खिला रहा हूँ.. क्या पता की हम खुद ही किसके भाग्य से खा रहे हैँ !
